While many might think of DJs as solely providing music for dance floors, our skills can be utilized in a variety of ways to enhance events. In the case of Wagons Ho Ho Ho, my role went beyond simply playing Christmas music.
The event involved volunteers assembling red wagons filled with toys, food, and gifts for children in need. My job was to create a festive and upbeat atmosphere that kept everyone motivated and energized throughout the day. It was truly an honor to be a part of this event. Interestingly enough, the organizer behind Wagons Ho Ho Ho is someone We’ve had the pleasure of working with before. Having previously DJ’d two weddings for her daughters, she was familiar with Beat Squad’s ability to read the crowd, adapt my playlist, and keep the energy high. This trust meant a lot to me, and I was determined to live up to her expectations by creating a fun and festive environment for the volunteers.
