For instance, in the photo you see, the vibrant combination of purple and teal indicates that we were in the midst of a high-energy pop dance track. Where do I draw inspiration for these light shows? From some of the best music festivals and concerts around. I’m a firm believer in continuous learning and staying ahead of the curve. The inspiration for the purple and teal combination, for example, came from an Ariana Grande concert I attended right here in Columbus. Seeing how she used these colors to enhance her upbeat dance songs on a massive stage sparked an idea. I thought, “How can I translate this grand vision into the more intimate setting of a wedding or event?” The answer lies in meticulous planning and attention to detail.
But it’s not just about the lights at the DJ booth. I strive to create a 360-degree immersive experience. I use wireless, battery-powered uplights strategically placed around the room. While uplighting is a common decorative element for DJs, I take it a step further. With the touch of a button, these uplights become an integral part of my dance floor lighting, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their position in the room, is enveloped in the light show. This creates a truly captivating and cohesive atmosphere, enhancing the overall vibe of the celebration.
